Digital making (6-11 years)

Join us for an electrifying journey into the world of physical computing! In this hands-on session, you'll dive into the exciting realm of the Internet of Things (IoT) and create your very own alarm system using microcontrollers, LEDs and buzzers. Inspired by popular IoT products like Nest and Ring, your creativity will be unleashed as you design and code a customisable alarm that can be armed and disarmed remotely. Through this engaging project, you will not only learn fundamental concepts of electronics and coding but also discover the endless possibilities of technology in our everyday lives.

Age 6-11 years. 

This session is a drop-and-go! There is no space at the venue for waiting grown-ups, please return to collect your child at the end of the session.
